On-Site Living History brings a trained Living Historian to your school or special event. At this time, On-Site has the following presentations available:
AMERICAN CIVIL WAR, 1861-1865
Learn how a Civil War trooper lived and fought in the saddle
WESTWARD EXPANSION, 1862-1890
From the Homestead Act to the closing of the frontier, learn how civilians, Indians, and soliders lived on the American frontier
STEPPING ONTO THE WORLD'S STAGE, 1890-1903
Learn about America's experiment with "colonialism" as we look beyond our boarders to satisify our desire for growth through the eyes of one of Roosevelt's Rough Riders during the Spanish-American War
Each Living Historian is painstakingly outfitted to match the uniform and equipment of the portrayed era. A 30 minute oral presentation along with an explanation of equipment and weapons are included in the presentation. Time is also allowed for questions from the audience.

*Live fire demonstration, pistol and carbine (blanks), extra charge
*Period outfitted live horse, extra charge
(An outside turf or dirt area sufficent to ride a horse and available for horse trailer access must be available for this option)
*Second horse/rider for mounted saber fight demonstration (Civil War option only)
*Extra time for additional classes (2 class limit per presentation, 3 presentations per day, maximum)
