On-Site Living History

On-Site Living History brings a trained Living Historian to your school or special event.  At this time, On-Site has the following Living Historians available:

 

Union cavalryman, 7th Michigan Volunteer Cavalry, American Civil War, 1861-1865

 

US Army cavalryman, 7th Cavalry, Custer era, 1876

 

1st USV Cavalry, Roosevelt's Rough Riders, Spanish-American War, 1898

 

Each Living Historian is painstakingly outfitted to match the uniform and equipment of the portrayed era.  A 30 minute oral presentation along with an explanation of equipment and weapons are included in the presentation.  Time is also allowed for Q and A.

OPTIONS:

Live fire demonstration, pistol and carbine (blanks), extra charge

Period outfitted live horse with sabre demonstration, extra charge

(An outside turf or dirt area sufficent to ride a horse and available for horse trailer access must be available for this option)

Extra time for additional classes (2 class limit per presentation, 3 presentations per day, maximum)

On-Site is based in the city of Norco, CA (92860) and is restricted to a 100 mile travel limit, one way.
